I’m Patti Kirst, founder and owner of Krystal Travel Co., a retired U.S. Air Force officer, and a travel advisor for more than 30 years. My love of travel began during my 23-year Air Force career, when I had the privilege of living in Germany, Turkey, Japan, and Taiwan.
After retiring from the military, my husband and I set out on our own adventure—traveling through 49 states by RV and visiting national and state parks across the country. Those years taught me what a brochure never can: what different travelers truly need to feel comfortable, safe, and excited about where they’re going.
So when I recommend a destination, a cruise port, or a ship, it comes from firsthand knowledge and real-world experience—not a sales pitch.
